Hi! I’m Steph, founder, owner and operator of Wellness From Within. I have been there, I have been you. I have been overweight, exhausted, had adult acne and struggled with my cycles. I see you, I hear your struggles and I know how incredibly disheartening it is to seek professional help to be only given a pill to ‘help’. I opened the doors to Wellness From Within in 2019 after working in the Beauty and Massage industry for 10 years to help those struggling with their own health and wellness issues.
I trained in Beauty Therapy in 2009 and have worked in the industry since. During my time working, along with dealing with my own issues, I came across a large number of clients who required additional support, particularly for skin issues such as acne, eczema and dermatitis, which require work on the gut, inflammation and even hormones; topical treatment alone using skincare wasn’t cutting the mustard. I decided to help give my clients the level of care and deeper support they needed, I needed to increase me knowledge, so I then began training as a Clinical Nutritionist.
I qualified as a Clinical Nutritionist 5 years ago. This gave me a greater understanding of the body and the impact of nutrition, lifestyle, our mental and emotional wellbeing has on the body as a whole. When these areas are imbalanced, it can lead to multiple health issues.
This created the vision for the birth of Wellness From Within where I work with those who are looking to improve their health and such issues as digestive discomfort, hormone imbalance, skin issues and stress.
Bespoke wellness plans are created by assessing an individuals diet and lifestyle through thorough investigation which often incudes functional testing such as Hair Analysis and/or Hormone testing. The information gathered is collated and an individulised plan is put together to help the person reach their health and wellbeing goals. This includes dietary alterations, lifestyle factors, exercise and supplements where required.
